This project is partially funded by The Watsonville Film Festival through their Cine Se Puede Grant program, awarded to local emerging Latino filmmakers.
I was one of five awarded filmmakers in 2024 for my directorial debut project El Regreso del Miedo (formerly titled The Act of Caring in their instagram post).
With the awarded grant money of $500, our project was able to cover Art Department costs.
As winner of the grant, El Regreso Del Miedo will be screened Watsonville Film Festival's 2026 screening happening March 2026.
