March 2026, I was reached out to by my good friend José to help him with his newest short film project, capturing the beauty and current struggles the infamous San Jose Berryessa Flea Market is facing. Joining the team as his 1st AD, I had the privilege to listen to some of the stories many long time vendors had to say on the Flea Market, one that I grew up attending with my family and still to this day frequent. The film is now available on Youtube with amazing visuals from the market, interviews with local vendors - including Roberto Gonzalez who is a vendor and currently leading the Berryessa Flea Market Vendors Association.
