Las Chinacas Del Encanto
Logline: Sisters Erisa and Sonia travel through the forest, when they suddenly bump into magical forest creatures named Chinacas that ask for their help as they've lost their magical stone. The team find that the Devil himself has found it, and have to play a little "card game" to get it back.
Las Chinacas Del Encanto, is my 2nd directorial project, written/produced/directed by me. Inspired by my childhood growing up with a sister, hearing of legendary Folktale stories shared by my parents, to the whimsical childhood I had, these elements all combine to create my newest project. Dedicated to rich Mexican visual culture and Mexican storytelling, this film is set to capture my cultural background and childhood. Principal Photography wrapped September 2026, and is currently in its post-production phase.
