Ephemeral
In July 2025 I received the opportunity to be a Behind The Scenes Videographer for the short film Ephemeral, created by Less Than Half Pictures, a film collective based off of San Francisco with the goal to support POC and LGBTQ+ filmmakers. Utilizing my documentary background and camera skills, for 7 days I captured the behind the scenes of the project recording on a Black Magic camera. Our goal, was for me to not only capture enough footage to not only have promotional media of the project, but to also create a mini documentary.
On the second day of shooting, me and one of the co-founders of Less Than Half Pictures, Ken Francis Villa, conducted interviews of most of the crew members, asking about their specific workflows, how did they hear about the project and what they thought of it, and overall what they hope audiences take from the project.
The project is currently in post-production and will enter its Festival Run shortly after.
